Having a reflux episode. Burning throat waking me up & clearing etc. Diet & stress to blame. Started taking 2 20mg otc Pepcid. How long is safe to take or should I do prilosec or nexium for 2 weeks to hopefully clear it out. Doc appt is weeks away?
