Low risk at your age: Your risk of esophageal cancer is low at your age. I hope you are now an ex-smoker. However, if you have H. pylori infection as a cause of your reflux, you remain at risk for esophageal Ca. Take Mastic Gum (from a health food store) for your H. pylori and reflux. 1000 mg/day kills 99% of H. pylori in two weeks.
