My 10 day old had a kidney ultrasound that showed density in medullary pyramid what does that mean?

Can't tell: No way of knowing without seeing the images. It may be early calcification. Or it may be just that overall the kidneys were "echogenic". This is very common in newborns as they "recover" from the mild dehydration they are born with.
