I have some hematomas in my groin from an injury where i was thrown from a horse and then stepped on. will these ever go away? are they dangerous?

Takes months: Deep hematoma like this can take months to go away. Sometimes they never completely disappear. Even if they do not disappear they are not dangerous. The only thing to know is that some types of cancer can look like bruises; but cancer generally grows over time. If the "bruises" are stable for many months and get bigger, see your md.
