Had endov. procedure done almost 3 weeks ago. large sheaths were changed 3 times in a high femoral vein puncture. 1 day later, massive groin hematoma. still hurts. was pushed into surrounding tissue. how does the vein heal itself after this trauma?

sometimes the vein heals with deformity which requires repair. Did you lose enough blood to cause anemia? I recommend a consultation with a vascular surgeon because of on going pain
