He could: Sorry to hear about your brother. Metastasis to the spine can be very painful, but there are various ways this pain can be effectively managed. Have him see a spine surgeon if the spine pain is a big concern. Good and adequate pain management is important at this point for him, so if his pain worsens/changes, he needs to inform his physicians, so they can adjust treatment accordingly.
