Speak with your surg: It is not uncommon to have a broken blood vessel after any type of eye surgery. There is surface touch and manipulation with surgery and a broken blood vessel or subconjunctival hemorrhage can occur. This is rarely a problem unless severe. If this developed 2 weeks out, it could have been a spontaneous subconj hemorrhage. It is also possible that you have another issue. Please call md.

Possible bruise: This could be an indication of a slight bruising of the superficial vessels over the white part of the eye, maybe from rubbing the eye area, or a forceful cough/sneeze. An exam with your ophthalmologist can diagnose it readily.
