Depends: Keratoconus form fruste = no lasik, may have long term disaster; needing corneal transplant. Keratoconus: prk, lasek ok. Post op minimum safe readings: lasik bed >250, prk thickness >380, k reading >35 in all surgeries. Picture is actual ectasia before transplantation after lasik in form fruste keratoconus.
