Exposure therapy: Find a therapist who specializes in treating panic disorder, especially helpful is exposure based therapy for panic, where gradually, with the therapist's guidance, you intentionally & repeatedly bring on various symptoms of panic, interspersed w/ relaxation techniques. By doing this over & over again, the physical sensations that accompany the panic feeling will no longer trigger a panic attack.

What's ONE more?: If you have a serious problem with allergies and asthmatic bronchitis- anything that lowers your blood oxygen level, you will also have an anxiety disorder; it's a reflex triggered by the threat of suffocation. Taking small doses of xanax, (alprazolam) as preventive medicine to block panic attacks, during allergy season, is best approach. You can try intentional deep breathing/relaxation but keep that xanax!
