About

Bio

Born & raised in Dallas, Texas," 4th generation Texan". English is my native language, with some knowledge of Spanish. Both of my parents are mental health professionals and I began attending professional workshops before high school age. My practice is based on the best scientific evidence for the diagnosis and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems. I attempt to balance my approach using the "Bio-Psycho-Social" model as the "wholistic" stance must include all three databases. Philosophically speaking, there is no meaning without context. Human beings always result from a biological substrate, such as their genetic inheritance, but they are also formed by their unique sequence of life experiences, which also take place in certain cultural settings. All of these things must be taken together in order to comprehend their problems.

Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.
