Wenkebach: Am not aware of your terms. There are two forms. Type 1 can occur in normal individuals by certain drugs or heightened vagal tone. Prognosis is usually quite good. Type 2 is almost always due to organic disease involving the conduction system and may lead to complete heart block. A pacemaker may be required.
