Yes; figure out caus: Yes, you can try different antiemetics. But be sure to give each one an "adequate trial" before dismissing it as ineffective. Also, understand the reason / cause of "gastroenteritis" to begin with. If it is viral, the process is self-limiting; however, if the cause is a systemic condition, then to relieve the symptom, you have to treat the condition - antiemetics alone won't control nausea/vomitin
