Sensible: This is a great goal for yourself especially at your age. The key is plenty of lean protein (i'm going assume you'd like some muscle mass as well), and avoiding the greasy / salty / sugary stuff that most folks overeat. After a while you'll come to dislike these. Keep it simple like this, and renew your acquaintance with fruits and vegetables. Nobody ever got fat eating apples and oranges.
