Dental floss: Fluoride dental floss may be a better option than regular dental floss because Fluoride is able to be applied directly in between those hard to reach places. There is not enough information to determine if it gives your mouth a significant benefit over just flossing with flioride free floss. Flossing period is the real issue. Floss at least twice daily.

ANY FLOSS IS GOOD: The amount of Fluoride in the floss is so small that brushing with toothpaste containing Fluoride is better.

Yes and unknown: Fluoride dental floss really does have Fluoride and applying Fluoride to the areas in between the teeth does help prevent cavities, however it is unknown if using Fluoride dental floss gives any added advantage over using regular floss in combination with proper brushing with a Fluoride toothpaste . The theory is good, but not yet proven.

No: I do not believe that Fluoride dental floss has an added benefit vs. regular dental floss. The contact of the floss with the teeth is too short.
