Try a routine: Lots of things can disturb ones sleep pattern. Try creating a good sleep routine and de-stressing just before bed with either deep breathing techniques, shower or bath, reading, etc. Try to extend your waking hours. 7pm is an early adult bedtime so you are probably waking up around 2am...The 7-8 hour mark. The early dark hrs of winter may also be contributing if you are solar powered like me.

Middle insomnia: Your sleep problem may be a manifestation of many things. For example sleep apnea, do you drink more alcohol than you realize, are you drinking energy drinks in the daytime, is stress already causing mood and anxiety problems, do you have fears of being late, do you have a problem with your hormone system...All these conditions can be evaluated and treated.
