I squished my thumb under a 200lb piece of metal. thumb swollen, purple and black bruising on middle knuckle, blood under nail, can't bend.. broken?

Thumb injury: Go to the emergency room to have it checked. An xray can check to see if there is a fracture. They can puncture the top of the nail and relieve the pressure from the blood under the nail.
