I developed a spontaneous 5"x4" purple/black bruise on upper arm. no injury. 10 days later, no better & arm felt like i had tourniquet on &hand went cold.us neg for dvt, but showed hematoma. what may have caused this? concerns? not on blood thinner?

Yes, tight follow up will be needed, 1 for resorption/ healing of spontaneous hematoma and second for a possible coagulation related condition for which a hematologist specializing in coagulation disorders would be best.

Recent procedures and blood work done right arm preferred for IV. Arm randomly a week later developed large bruise across inner forearm and inner upper arm. It and armpit are extremely tender to touch. No swelling is present. Possible DVT-UE?

Can you get a DVT as a complication week after left brachial artery thrombectomy? Im on 2 blood thinners & aspirin and 1/2 my Left calf is bruised purple but entire front of calf if red/pink. Entire leg throbs. Or is that rare & likely just bruising
Gave blood@RedCross got bruise afterwards. 2 weeks passed bruise getn bigr all the way up arm black and purple went to doc said put ice on it no chng.
