Take Action: Keep hand elevated to minimize swelling and get evaluation now. Losing hand function or your hand is not a good thing. Symptoms you have could indicate infection or compromise of circulation or nerves to hand. Do not wait! The longer the delay the more chance things may become permanent and full recovery less likely.
