Maybe azithromycin: Azithromycin (& others in macrolide class) can effect mood, although it's a rare occurrence. If this was the case, your mood should return to normal after the Azithromycin is gone from your system. Unfortunately, this is a long acting medication, so it may take two weeks to improve. If your mood hasn't improved consult the prescribing physician to whom you should also report an adverse effect.
