Is it ok to take zofran (ondansetron) if i have ibs-c? an er doc gave it to 5 days ago. i took it as dx'ed. but today i had the most painful gi distress in my life

OK to take.: This is not a common effect of the med. If this occurs when you take the ondansetron then it might be wise to stop taking it.

Stop Zofran!: It will give you horrible constipation and unpredictable GI effects. Seek second opinion from a reputable gastroenterologist in your area.
