Over the counter med: There are several over the counter medications that are good, my favorite is called zillactin but it may be hard to find.

Topical treatment : A mild anesthetic mouth rinse that you can buy over the counter might help the symptoms, but the cause could be many factors that cannot be determined here. If it persists, see a dentist.
