Yes: Honestly stay away from juice. Let your child eat a piece of fruit and drink a glass of water rather than having the fruit juice. Your child will get all the fiber and vitamins and benefits of the fruit that way. Fruit juice offers very little.

Absolutely!: Milk and water are the only fluids kids need to drink. Juice, soda, sugared drinks of any type only introduce empty calories. "no sugar added" fruit juice is a food industry trick because all juices have their own sugars. 8 oz of orange juice has the equivalent of nearly 8 tsp of sugar! a 12 oz soda has nearly 10 tsp of sugar. High fructose corn syrup is particularly unhealthy.
