DES cancer risk: That is a tough question to answer, because you don't want to wait to long, but if you have an abnormal pap smear before you get insurance, that might be a "pre-existing condition" for some insurance companies. The best thing is either to get insurance now, or see what options are available in your community for a free exam (susan g komen, planned parenthood, free clinics).
