Get physician advice: Weight loss (if overweight) and cardio exercise can help. As will reducing excessive alcohol. Nsaids and stimulant drugs can increase bp, and should be stopped. There are many drugs for hypertension, depending on patient characteristics like presence or absence of age, heart disease, diabetes, kidney damage, asthma/copd, osteoporosis and others. Your physician can advise on the best options.
