Blood pressure : Healthy living. Avoid smoking, loss excess weight, excessive salt, sugar, fatty animal products. Sleep well-speak to your doctor if you don't. Deal with emotional stresses, meditate, laugh and enjoy the company of supportive people. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Exercise according to your doctor's recommendations regularly. If recommended use medications according to recommendations

No easy ways: Weight loss, dash diet (see: http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/dash-diet/hi00047) and regular exercise will help. Beyond those recommendations, medications are necessary.

Stay healthy: Eat well, keep a good weight, do not smoke, avoid too much caffeine, avoid too much salt, decrease stress. If all this fails, see a dr. for eval and possible BP medical management.

Keep weight in : ideal range, BMI below 24, exercise (cardio/pulmonary) daily, avoid excess fats and salts (pre-prepared and canned food), don't smoke, and consult with your doctor for baseline lab tests including renal function and EKG. If your doctor feels an anti-hypertensive is necessary in addition to this then do so.
