Surveillance: Pet scans can help evaluate of a treatment is working as well as how extensively involved it is throughout the body. It can also be used along with blood markers and clinical exams to keep an eye on patients who have had ovarian cancer to make sure it doesn't come back or if it does that it is caught very early.
