A member asked:

How long will you have to sit to get a blood clot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood clot: I don't believe there's a definitve time frame in regards to developing a blood clot. Many factors need to be considered. Things like age of the patient, smoking, cardiac conditions, obesity and prior history of DVT all predispose someone to an increase risk of developing a blood clot.
