Sitting too long on a plane, or at a computer, or playing with an x-box can and will lead to DVT and a pulmonary embolus. resulting in possible death. Best get up after sitting 60 - 90 minutes and walk around the room for a few minutes, wear loose clothing and drink a lot of water. Everybody has a different response to this event, don't you be the one to develop DVT.

Sitting for a long time is a risk factor, but most people do not get blood clots from just sitting around. Visit this site for information on venous blood clots: https://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/dvt/facts.html#:~:text=Venous%20thromboembolism%20(VTE)%2C%20a,can%20cause%20disability%20and%20death.
