Specializes in Pediatric Rheumatology

Ask your doctor: Depending on what your doctor thinks may be causing your pain, some choices will be more appropriate.Your regular doctor can start getting clues based on your exam, history, labs, and imaging if needed.Generally, if you have a problem that may benefit from surgery, you'll want to see an orthopedic surgeon. If a soft tissue injury, then prob rehab doc or sports med. If autoimmune, then rheumatology.

Sports Med or NS: For your age, id try a sports medicine doctor. If it seems to be coming from the back, i'd see a neurosurgeon to do an mri.
