Don't take melatonin: I'm more of the club that if a med is causing a side effect that is troublesome look for a different med rather than covering up a side effect with another pill. You may be able to try a lower dose or brand of melatonin.

Melatonin.: I agree w dr. Wilson. Another option is to use excellent sleep hygiene. 1. Keep a regular bedtime & wakening time (to include weekends). Get up the same time each day, regardless of what time you fell asleep. 2. Make a regular, relaxing bedtime routine.
