As bipolar is tough enough and now meds make me loopy can i apply for and get disability?

Depends: If the medications are making you loopy, you should see your doctor. Sometimes it can take a few trials to find the right combination of medication which works well and does not have side effects. If your bipolar disorder is severe and with medication you are still having problems functioning, you can try applying for disability. There are no guarantees.
