Can you tell me if a person has a history of cancer and has lung nodules, could these nodules be cancerous?

Yes: Need to compare new and old x-rays and ct scans and may need tissue biopsy. There are benign nodules sometimes even in cancer patients.

Yes: If you have a history of cancer, and there are lung nodules found, they must - at the very least - be followed very closely with multiple ct scans. They can definitely be cancerous. Now, having said that, they may just be scars or temporary infections, etc. But, you have to follow them closely. Good luck!
