Aerobic: Aerobic exercise at a moderate pace for an extended period of time will most likely lead to maximum fat loss. Exercise at a full cardio pace will of course burn more calories per unit time, but most people cannot keep this up long enough and so as a practical matter will lose less weight than those who set a modest pace.
