Parkinson's Disease: Eldepryl (selegiline) is a selective monoamine oxidase inhibitor type b mao-i. It increases the Dopamine available in the barin by inhibiting the monoamine oxidase (a naturally occurring enzyme in the brain involved in removing the neurotransmitters Dopamine and serotonin from the extracellular space).
