Honesty: When a dentist refers your child to a qualified orthodontic specialist it is for your child's own good. The dentist does not receive a referral fee, kick-back, or any portion of the fee that the orthodontist charges you. He/she is making the referral because it is in your child's best interests to be as healthy and attractive as possible.
