Many things need to be right before braces: home care must be good to prevent cavities during braces care. If you have gum disease, this has to be well controlled. No more baby teeth: Braces are usually put on after all the permanent teeth have erupted. This typically occurs between the age of 10-15. As a non-growing adult age is certainly not a factor!
