Informed consent: After you have received informed consent (google it), you have the right to refuse any treatment including psychiatric treatment as long as you are capable and not 1. Imminent danger to self 2. Imminent danger to others 3. Gravely disabled i the above scenarios, the law permits an md to medicate or treat against patient's will.
