In most cases yes: There are hundreds of different multivitamins so i can't generalize but a good multivitamin has all the vitamins & minerals you need. However, most adults need 5000 iu of vit d in fall & winter & i don't know any with that much. I also advise 1-2, 000 mg of c 2x/day which few multivits supply. It's optimal to take 400 iu of vit e with mixed tocopherols & many will benefit from extra magnesium too!
