A member asked:

Is paracetamol safe to use when a person has a gastric ulcer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not recommended: The only arthritis drug I use in patients with ulcer is tylenol (acetaminophen). If the arthritis is advanced and painful, narcotic and acetominephorin combinations can be used. For inflammatory bowel or skin conditions, topical drugs and biologics are considered. High use of tylenol (acetaminophen) has been associated with ulcer as well.
