Pain: Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) should only be used for short term pain relief. I would say 4 to 5 days max. How long have you had this pain? Was it an MD or DDS that looked at the sore and gave you the Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen)? Mouth ulcers should heal within 7 to 10 days and rarely are they painful enough to take strong narcotics. I would recommend that you see your dentist.

Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) analgesic: is used for a short time (10-14 days) for the treatment of pain. If used longer, there is a risk to become dependent on the drug, develop tolerance, or develop an opioid withdrawal syndrome.
