My gland near my jawline started swollen two days ago. i also had ulcer near to my throat. i took 1g of paracetamol to soothe the pain. is it okay?

Ulcer: The ulcer in your throat likely caused the swelling in your gland. Keep the area well irrigated and clean. 1 GM of paracetamol is not a problem. You may need to repeat medication for pain control. Follow the instructions on the bottle. All the best.

Gland swelling: You may have an infection or inflammation of your submandibular salivary gland. I recommend warm compress and massage of the gland. If the pain continues or does not improve, I recommend you seek an in person evaluation and exam to determine the best treatment and need for antibiotics.
