A member asked:

Can running increase leg muscle or just lose weight and fat on it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes,no,yes:-: Leg muscles will increase. Fat will be lost; weight may not be lost, as muscles of the same mass as the fat, will weigh more than the fat. Overall fat may be lost from the body as you continue to exercise.
