A member asked:

Would the muscles in my legs add a few pounds on the scale? been running over a year(incline) and my legs have never shown muscle tone before.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Muscle density: Muscle tissue is denser than fat, so you can actually get slimmer with strength exercise, and still weigh more on your scale. Healthy diet and aerobic exercise can combine to result in weight loss and are almost always a healthy habit. I would consult with your physician to define your best diet and exercise choices.
