A member asked:

Is there any way to treat depression with out medicine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: It depends on the severity of the depression. If your depression is severely affecting your ability to function at home/work, a combination of therapy and medication work the best. For more mild symptoms, alternative treatments can be tried such as exercise, vitamins(d, b complex, omega 3), herbal supplements (5htp, st john's wort, or same), support groups, therapy and journaling.
