Protein: Protein is the best choice. You should eat your ideal body weight in grams of protein each day and never eat more than 35 grams of fructose a day. This includes all the grams of sugars listed for products containing fructose, corn syrup or high-fructose corn syrup and half the grams of sugars that contain sugar, sucrose, cane sugar or brown sugar.
