It's ok.: You do exactly what you did by writing in. Obviously you want help and are looking for that little extra bit of assistancet to put you in the engagement phase. Next step: see your physician to rule out medical causes for your anxiety. He or she may recommend that you see a psychologist or a psychiatrist. Be upfront about how anxious you feel and the staff will help you through it. Take care.

Home visits.: I recently had a call for in home therapy for anxiety. There are doctors who will do housecalls and part of the goals of treatment include that the person makes some progress to eventually attend office visits.
