CBT: Sounds ovewhelming. A thorough evaluation to rule out possible physical causes of such psychological symptoms and, if appropriate, to establish proper psych diagnosis is essential. If its clear that the cause of your symptoms is not a physical condition, a kind of talk therapy called cbt (cognitive behavioral therapy) might prove useful.

Therapy, meds, DIY: The standard & often best approach is psychotherapy, either the traditional type that explores underlying fears and concerns that lead to anxiety, or newer cbt versions that train you to think differently (less anxiously). There are also anti anxiety medications. Many are habit-forming, all have pros and cons. Finally, there are many "do it yourself" self-help options: yoga, relaxation, etc.
