A member asked:

Help please! is asthma just asthma; or is there a big difference between bronichial asthma & asthma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Same thing: There are a lot of older terms used to describe respiratory diseases. Unfortunately this is one of them. There are several types of asthma however, for example: intrinsic asthma, extrinsic (allergic) asthma, exercise-induced asthma, Aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease.
