Different causes: Asthma is an inflamation of the bronchioles usually caused by allergies, or other "triggers". Bronchitis can be caused by infection, or in chronic cases, smoking, continuous inhaled pollutants or other "particulates". Best to be checked and tested if you think its asthma.
