What is the difference b/w allergic bronchitis and allergic asthma/asthma?

Location in the lung: Allergy can occur anywhere from the nose to the lungs. Usually asthma is defined when the allergy happens in the smaller air tubes in the lungs and the bronchus is the large air tube. There can be different symptoms if the smaller air tubes are involved vs the bronchus

In name only: Various terms have been used to define/describe Asthma, which has a strong allergy component, and genetic predisposition. The main thing is what precautions can be taken to prevent an exacerbation of asthma symptoms and what treatment works fir the patient. Allergy testing and treatment of allergies, as indicated is an important part of work up if these patients.
